Run United II 2013
This day marked a special period of the evolution of the Road Eaters Running Club with the launching of the official club singlet, designed by their very own Jemai. The singlets have white, blue and red colors and features the club logo in front and the member's name at the back.

The RU2 experience was definitely awesome wearing the attire that represents the club. Anyone who wears it could stand-out from the rest. Some runners caught the attention of the Road Eaters wearing RERC singlets within the sea of dark-colored RU2 singlets. They would say to themselves, "Whoa! Who the heck are those running in white, blue and red singlets?" or others would say, "Those singlets look so cool. Maybe I should join their club!" Maybe that was one reason why the club was featured in the Unilab Facebook page after the race and lots got interested to join the club for the first time.
For the Road Eaters, it was easy to find their lost running buddies. On the other hand, sending cheers to their co-Road Eaters wearing the official club singlets even on the other side of the road granted an exhilarating feeling and made them proud that they would want to experience it in an unlimited fashion.
The group photo that caught the attention of Unilab :)
Hooray! Make way for another history! First-time 32K runners who braved the race wearing the RERC singlets were Josh, Jemai, BJ and Kevin.

Run United I 2013
In almost 7 months of operation, the Road Eaters Running Club hit a total of 30 members with 25 of them (the highest so far) able to join the much-awaited Run United I 2013 – to start completing the popular RU race series.
New members include: Sam, Pau,
Two vans were needed to bring the Road Eaters to the Mall of Asia grounds. An unexpected delay happened, but fortunately, the club had competitive half-marathon Road Eaters who could outrun the others. Eya was also with them, for her new level race.
To start the running season, a lot of changes were noted: The routes were slightly new, the singlets were improved for better comfort, and unlimited bananas and Gatorade were made available.
Lootbags contained a towel, sun visor, small can of century tuna and some sample products from Unilab.
What’s more, the half-marathoners would surely await the next 2 RU races to complete their unique finisher’s tokens.
The proud wife.
Run United Philippine Marathon 2012
The Road Eaters together with 12,000 estimated number of running enthusiasts became part of history as race organizer Runrio and Unilab Active Health launched its first-ever marathon in promoting nationalism through sportsmanship.

Almost late for the 21K gunstart, the Road Eaters hurried at the starting line. That was the first run without any warm up. New members Carol (who was previously an Elite Runners' buddy) and athletic Arjay joined the Road Eaters Running Club for the first time on their first 21K run.
Where else could they find finishing a marathon in an exclusive red carpet finish line under an exclusive finish arc with colorful balloons while cow bells ring and marching bands, video/photo shots and other surprises await? (what a mouthful!). The Road Eaters didn't see those stuffs. Those were for the 42K runners only! Toinks!
Here's something to be proud of: What the club offered in this marathon is its blasting 10K and 21K runners.

Oh c'mon, RUPM is just a practice game. Soon, they'll eat that 42K road. More than that. And maybe a grand circus parade will await them. Teehee!
To finish the race carrying miniature Philippine flags and wearing the symbolic singlets in blue, red and white was definitely patriotic. Definitely the colors of the Road Eaters Running Club.

Off to Army Navy Burger & Burrito!
Run United III 2012
After the running club was built and trainings were held, the much anticipated first running event for the Road Eaters came.
As early as 12:30AM, the service van started to pick-up the Road Eaters in different parts of the Metro. They had to reach SM Mall of Asia before 4:00AM (21K gunstart).
Sleeplessness, excitement and anxiety were felt by the newbies for in the next few hours, a great action would be done. It was also a chance to travel with like-minded new friends.

Inside the van, people had their own kinds of businesses. There were eaters, sleepers, talkers, updaters, jokers, gigglers and a driver. Outside are bright lights in still-busy streets and rain clouds on a night-dark sky.
When they reached SM MOA, there was still time to warm up cold bodies before the 21K gunstart. They met the other club members as well.
At 5:30AM, the 10K runners (all newbies) started to run.
At the 5:45AM gunstart, Lyvia braved the 3K race.
The morning rain provided difficult challenges for the runners, especially the newbie Road Eaters. It was shivering. Clothes and shoes soaked in rainwater added weight. Worse, eyes were hit with spattering raindrops and eyeglasses got watermarks.
But to put it positively, it was freshening; a playful experience for the child in us.
Good thing, unlimited Powerade in plastic cups were provided. And lots of bananas too.
The Road Eaters waited until all had finished the race. 3K, 10K and 21K runners received Active Health Finisher’s Bag with medicines and other Unilab products inside plus drinks. And of course, Finisher’s Medal and Shirt for the 21K runners.
Happy and proud poses
The 21K finishers: Kirk, Jemai, BJ and Josh

The 10K finishers: Anjo, Hanna, Saldy, Angel, Kevin and Mitch
Of course, there was a special prize that awaited the best runner.
Guess who?
It's Kevin!
THE ONE who started the slowest during trainings but THE ONE who became fastest among all newbies during this official run. Congratulations!
